Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When both accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, many attachments have been engineered and developed like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures so as to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being engineered and developed all the time and will be available in the future.
A lot of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For instance, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory would compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
