Narrow Aisle Forklift
Utilized to both lower and lift loaded pallets from storage spaces which are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This particular kind is suitable for work places with narrow spaces between aisles, like for instance warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires that make maneuvering easy.
The operator of this particular kind of forklift generally stands up in a small cockpit. The stand-up design enables the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift usually has three tires: two in the front, and one in the back. This design enables for easy and fast maneuvering. There are several versions of these forklifts which are available with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment is capable of pivoting to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to reposition the entire equipment. The sit-down version generally has four wheels.
An electric engine is used to power numerous narrow aisle forklifts. Electric-powered equipment are quiet and do not produce exhaust fumes, making them the preferred alternative for closed places like for example retail spaces. Some lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. However, the diesel version is not recommended to be utilized indoors since it can be noisy and produce exhaust.
