Articulating Booms - Bi-Energy and Electric
The Genie DC and Bi-Energy machines manufactured by Terex provide quiet and emission-free operation in the most sensitive work applications. Like for instance, in industrial situations where the equipment must travel large distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the versatility and benefits of a diesel fueled generator utilizing a 48 Volt DC equipment.
Key features that this combination provides is up, over and out positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. What's more, the zero tail-swing provided by nearly all units, combined with the tight turning radius provides easy maneuvering through narrow aisles and standard doors.
Drive controls and proportional lift controls also provide smooth drive performance and precise boom positioning. The 48V DC electric drive system offers emission free and quiet operation suitable for sensitive environments. There are jib boom models available to function with an additional working range for particular jobs. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform that rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie equipment by Terex are great for both indoor and outdoor construction applications. This particular model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms which combine extreme lifting versatility and out, over and up positioning capabilities. The outreach offered by this model is second to none in the market.
Diesel engine equipment on nearly all modes have an articulating boom that offers zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These equipment are great in narrow or small places. Additionally, they provide terrain and grade maneuverability, supreme power and excellent torque. The diesel engines are quiet in general also. Most models have full time drive positive drive traction system and active oscillating axle to offer great flexibility on surfaces that are rough and uneven.
High ground clearance is offered in 4 or 2 wheel drive models, while the rough terrain models are desirable for any company's fleet. The jib boom types are available and provide extra range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to 90 degrees on these models too.
